  1. What types of therapy do you offer?

We provide a wide range of mental health services, including:

  1. Are your therapists licensed?

Yes, all our therapists are licensed professionals. They also undergo international training, attend regular workshops, and participate in seminars to stay updated and become experts in their fields.

  1. Is therapy only for those with mental health issues?

Not at all! Therapy is for everyone. In today’s fast-paced and stressful world, everyone deserves a safe space to relax, reflect, and recharge. A healthy mind is essential for a fulfilling life, and therapy helps you maintain that balance, whether you’re dealing with challenges or simply looking to enhance your well-being.

  1. How do I know which therapist is right for me?

We will assign you a therapist based on your responses to the intake questionnaire. If the therapist we assign isn’t compatible with you, we’ll reassign you to another therapist at no additional cost. Your satisfaction and comfort are our priorities.

  1. Who can benefit from therapy?

Therapy is for everyone. Whether you’re struggling with stress, navigating a life transition, or looking to enhance your emotional well-being, our services are designed to meet your needs.

  1. Is therapy confidential?

Yes, your privacy is our utmost priority. All sessions and communications are fully confidential and adhere to strict privacy laws and guidelines.

  1. How do I book a session?

Just complete the set of questions, choose the package, and pay. Within three minutes, your session will be scheduled according to your chosen date and time.

  1. Can I reschedule a session?

Yes, you can reschedule a session. Please inform us at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled session time.

  1. Do you offer services for specific communities, like LGBTQ+ or veterans?

  1. How long is each session?

Each session is 60 minutes (1 hour) to ensure you have enough time to address your concerns thoroughly.

  1. Do you offer therapy for children and teenagers?

Yes, we offer specialized therapy for both children and teenagers. For children, we focus on addressing behavioral concerns and conditions such as autism and ADHD. For teenagers, we provide tailored teen therapy to help them navigate their unique challenges.

  1. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as other secure online payment methods.

  1. Can I use your services if I’m outside the USA?

Yes! We’ve been operating worldwide for over 10 years, providing quality mental health care no matter where you are.

  1. How do I get started?

Simply add your basic details, complete the set of questions, choose the package, pay, and you’re done!

  1. Is online counseling right for me?

Therapy for Minds may be right for you if you’re looking to improve the quality of your life. Whenever there is anything that interferes with your happiness or prevents you from achieving your goals, we may be able to help. We also have counselors who are specialized in specific issues, such as stress, anxiety, relationships, parenting, depression, addictions, eating, sleeping, trauma, anger, family conflicts, LGBTQ matters, grief, religion, self esteem and more.

Therapy for Minds is not the right solution for you if any of the following is true:
You have thoughts of hurting yourself or others

  • You are a minor or you are under the care of a legal guardian
You are in an urgent crisis or an emergency situation
  • You have been diagnosed with a severe mental illness, or if you have been advised to be in psychological supervision or psychiatric care
  • You were required to undergo therapy or counseling either by a court order or by any other authority
  • You do not have a device that can connect to the Internet or you do not have a reliable Internet connection.
  1. Who are the Counselors?

Counselors on Therapy for Minds are licensed, trained, experienced, and accredited psychologists, marriage and family therapists, clinical social workers, or licensed professional counselors. All of them have a Masters Degree or a Doctorate Degree in their field. They have been qualified and certified by the professional board after successfully completing the necessary education, exams, training and practice. While their experience, expertise and background vary, they all possess at least 3 years and 1,000 hours of hands-on experience.

  1. Who will be helping me?

After you book your appointment, we will match you to an available counselor who fits your objectives, preferences, and the type of issues you are dealing with. Different counselors have different approaches and areas of focus, so it’s important to find the right person who can achieve the best results for you. We have found that we are able to provide a successful match most of the time; however, if you start the process and you feel your counselor isn’t a good fit for you, you may elect to be matched to a different counselor.

  1. Is online therapy a substitute for face to face therapy?

The professionals who work through Therapy for Minds are licensed and credentialed therapists who were certified by the medical board to provide therapy and counseling. However, while the service may have similar benefits, it’s not capable of substituting for traditional face-to-face therapy in every case. Please note that your provider won’t be able to make any official diagnosis, to fulfill any court order or prescribe medication.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to us at info@therapyforminds.com. We’re here to support you every step of the way!

If you are in a crisis or any other person may be in danger – don’t use this site. These resources can provide you with immediate help.
